2009 Events

Welcome to our run down of some of the events from our busy 2009 season. Once again, Jive Pony performed across the UK to packed crowds. Our displays included roman riding, gymnastics, vaulting and our very unique touch of Jive pony glamour. If you've never seen our shows before then check out our booked events for next year and we look forward to welcoming you to the thrills of Jive Pony in 2010.

Mid Suffolk Show
Sunday 9th
Get down to Stonham Barns this Easter weekend to enjoy a host of entertainment at the Mid Suffolk Show. On offer will be heavy horses, rare breeds, sheepdog demos, food hall, craft stalls, terrier and lurcher shows, a beer tent and Jive pony, what more could you want? See you there. Brighton Fringe Festival
Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th
The Jive Pony team will be working with their sister company BurlesquePony to bring a true touch of equestrian sparkle to the streets of Brighton for the Festival opening. You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

Hadleigh Agricultural Fair
Saturday 16th
Come and see Jive Pony performing their double dose of Solo Shows at Hadleigh Agricultural Fair, a great day out for all the family and those who love the country life. You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

FICC Rally, Lincoln Show Ground
Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th
This is a brand new event for Jive Pony. We will be entertaining camping and caravaning families a like at this big event, with lots to do and see for all ages. You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

Suffolk Show at Trinity Park
Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th
Jive Pony return to the Suffolk Show in 2009 to once again wow the crowds with their unique Duo Shows. Audiences, prepare to be entertained! If you missed us last season make sure you make the trip , this show has everything. Top class show jumping, motor bikes, country pursuits, country living, 100's of stalls and of course Jive Pony! The Radlett Festival
Sunday 7th
The Radlett Festival held at Phillimore Recreation Ground will have everything a village festival should have including fair rides, side shows, craft stalls, punch and Judy, cream teas, sunshine (hopefully!) and a rather good horse show called Jive Pony! Banbury Town Festival
Sunday 14th
Jive Pony is delighted to be performing so close to home at the Banbury Town Festival. This event has been revived in the last few years and Jive Pony are hoping to bring a touch of glamour to the famous town where a lady with bells on her fingers and toes rode to the cross! The 85th Annual Middlesex Town and Country Show
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st
This show, held at the Middlesex Show Ground, brings together the excitement of the town and country together for visitors of all ages. So many things will be happening. There is a Highland games and strong man competition, dog shows, classic car parades, theatre dance shows, cookery demos, military bands, flyball and lots of trade stands. And if you manage to get through all that lot there is a rather good show called Jive Pony performing there too! You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

Circus Festival, Bletchingly
Sunday 28th
Jive Pony have been invited to bring a bit of the much missed old fashioned circus to this event and will be performing both of their Solo Shows throughout the day. We are really looking forward to returning to the circus for the day! It promises to be a day full of entertainment so get down there and see for yourselves! Eynsham Carnival
Saturday 4th
Jive Pony will be performing their Solo Shows at this great family fun day out. Some old Jive Pony friends Mr Dingel Fingel and his comedy car will also be bringing lots of belly laughs and nonsense to this summer show. You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

Annual Chilterns Show, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire
Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th
Lots to do and see at this one! Mounted games for all horsey and speed lovers, clay pigeon shooting for hot shots, creative writing and poetry competitions, chainsaw carving, ferret racing, and you guessed it Jive Pony will also be strutting their stuff. The CLA Game Fair at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire
Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th
Once again Jive Pony are returning to the biggest Game fair in the country performing in both the main arena and the Hooked on horses area. Performing three different shows a day there is something for all the family, held in the beautiful grounds of Belvoir Castle this one is not to be missed. Dumfriesshire Show
Saturday 1st
This long running agricultural show is full of fantastic top quality farm animals along with craft tents, showing classes, food festival, show jumping, heavy horses and even a milking competition! Jive Pony will be taking a trip up the country to bring their popular Duo Show to the main arena of the Dumfriesshire show. You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

The Gower Show
Sunday 2nd
This show is set in the beautiful grounds of Penrice Castle Park, a wonderful country family fun day out for all. Jive Pony will be performing there unique Solo Shows at this event so we look forward to seeing you there. You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

The Thornton le Dale Show nr Pickering
Wednesday 5th
This is a new one for us and quite unusual to be performing at a big show in the middle of the week! There will be loads to see and do and also lots of trade stands packed with goodies to spend your hard earned money on but make sure you catch the Jive Pony show, we'll keep an eye out for you! Danson Summer Fair
Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th
If your not up to much this weekend bring the family down to Danson Park. Oakleigh Fairs put on excellent family fun days with plenty to keep the children entertained including; bread making, sheep shows, fortune tellers and of course watching the fantastic Jive Pony show! Cheshire Game and Angling Fair
Sunday 16th
The Cheshire Game and Angling Fair is held at Peover in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. This Game Fair is a charity run event with all the profits being put back into the local community and countryside. Jive Pony will be performing their Duo Shows to help raise even more funds for this brilliant event adding to the wealth of countryside displays and stores there will be on offer. Eye Show Suffolk
Sunday 30th and Monday 31st
Eye Show is a long running two day event held at Goodrich Park. The show has top class entertainment for all the family and in 2009 Jive Pony will be performing their Duo Shows to amaze and entertain the crowds. You can view some photos in the gallery pages from this event.

Moreton-in-Marsh show
Saturday 5th
Jive Pony will be appearing at the Moreton-in-Marsh event with our Duo Shows. This is our biggest local show and we are so proud to be finally performing here. The Midland Game Fair, Weston Park Shropshire
Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th
This is a truly huge event with everything to do with the countryside you can think of. It is the perfect place to try new things you have always wanted to do, like shoot a gun perhaps, learn how to fly cast, or work a sheep dog, you name it you can try it. You really need two days at this whopper and of course the entertainment is top quality with the Jive Pony display team topping the bill twice daily in the main arena adding their unique glamour and equine skills to this fantastic event.
