Amy Panter joins Jive Pony
We are delighted to announce that Jive Pony are welcoming a new performer in 2011, with Amy Panter joining the display team. Her vaulting background at National and International level, along with her circus skills including aerial work with a hoop has ensured her a warm welcome into the team. 2010 Events Gallery updated
The Gallery pages have now been updated with some of the recent shows that Rebecca and Rosie have performed at across the UK in 2010. Now you can see the new outfits and how Jive Pony have been so lucky with the weather this year. Almost all the shows have been performed under blue sky. New look home page
Jive Pony have updated their home page to reflect the need to put more information on the page for you all. There is a lot going on with the Vaulting Clinics going really well and bookings for 2011 already!

New shows booked for 2010...
Jive Pony are delighted to have been booked for two more shows this year. You can check our Summer schedule on the 2010 event calendar page. Both Rebecca and Rosie, along with the horses, will be at the music festival Commotion '10 on July 10th, while later in the year the team are heading up to South Yorkshire for the Penistone Show on September 11th. To find a show near you, why not view the events map which will highlight all the shows that the Jive Pony display team will be performing.

Rosie will be keeping you all up-to-date with news from the UK's favourite all female equestrian display team. Exclusive Jive Pony videos...
At last! Jive Pony have released some new videos. Both a refreshed and up-to-date preview on the Jive Pony home page, along with two more videos within the new 'media' section of the site. We have an extended showreel that features the Jive Pony glamorous assistant and a sneak preview of the now infamous Jive Pony striptease. We also have some never before seen footage of Rebecca Townsend performing as Annie Oakley at DisneyLand Paris in 2009. Watch and enjoy and don't forget to tell all your friends to come and watch the videos!

New shows added and more Training Clinics...
We've added a couple of new shows to our schedule for 2010. Our local Fete on July 17th in Todenham followed the next day by another great family friendly village fete in Kingham. We always enjoy these shows as the audience gets up close and personal with us and the horses always enjoy the attention from all the children afterwards too. The Jive Pony Training Clinics are starting to take off and we have three private sessions in July and August when we will be showing the youngsters the basics of vaulting where they can get hands on experience from both Rebecca and Rosie. These days are great fun for those attending as well as for the girls of Jive Pony. There's something very special about training the very young pony riders and those a little older who are keen to try vaulting or even trick riding!

Jive Pony's first show is a success...
Despite the damp and cold conditions, the girls and horses from the Jive Pony display team gave their all in the first show of the 2010 season at the Bexley Easter Family and Craft Show in Kent on the 4th and 5th April. With their sexy new costumes and fast paced routines, the crowds that braved the cold Easter weekend weather were shown the very best of equine and vaulting skills from the UK's best display team. Both Rebecca and Rosie, along with Ronan and Tinker gave the audience two days of performances which still included the now infamous 'Jive Pony Strip' which is always performed in the best possible taste for all the family! The girls are now looking forward to performing later in the year, while still offering their time and expertise in the growing interest in their Training Clinics. Jive Pony's first show of the 2010 Season...
Rebecca and Rosie are looking forward to performing their new shows for 2010 at the Bexley Easter Family Craft Show in Kent on Easter Sunday & Monday (April 4th/5th). It will be the first opportunity for the crowds to witness the new look shows which the girls have been working on over the winter months. This will be the first of many shows across the UK in 2010. Full details of all shows can be found on the events pages, along with an interactive map that will help you find a show near you to come and watch the stunning Jive Pony display team perform their unique blend of equestrian skills and glamour! Rebecca Townsend is Annie Oakley...
When Rebecca is not performing with Jive Pony across the UK to packed crowds at all the major shows and fairs, she is in high demand across the world for her horsemanship and acting skills. Currently Rebecca is performing at Disneyland Paris in a brand new production for 2009 - Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show with Mickey and friends! Rebecca's working with Mickey and his friends to take you back to the time of the Old West to meet Buffalo Bill, Sitting Bull, Annie Oakley (performed by Jive Pony's Rebecca Townsend) and the Rough Riders. Check out the gallery pages to see some exclusive shots of Rebecca in action.

Photos from our first 2009 shows now added...
It's been so busy lately that we have not had a chance to update the web site with some photos taken at our recent shows which were performed to crowds across the UK. Apart from one cold and drizzly day, Jive Pony have been very lucky with the weather and the sun has always shined on our performances. Check out the new photos from our 2009 shows.

Training for the new shows continues...
It's just over a month to go before the 2009 season begins. Rehearsals for the fast approaching season are going great and we have some great new tricks for you all this year, so you'll have to checkout the 2009 calendar to find out where we shall be performing and get yourself along to one of the events to be amazed and dazzled by Jive Pony this year. The whole Jive Pony team, including the horses, are really looking forward to getting back on the road and apart from some new routines, we also have some new additions to the team - more about that very soon so keep coming back for all the very latest news from Jive Pony.

Looking forward to our 2009 Season...
We are currently busy planning our new 2009 shows which are going to be bigger and better than before, some new stunts and maybe the odd new costume thrown in to! Jive Pony are delighted to have secured three more shows, The 85th Annual Middlesex Town and Country Show in June, while in July we have agreed to appear at the Annual Chilterns Show, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire where I'm sure the crowds will be delighted to see the shows and come and visit us afterwards to meet the team up close and personal. We've also secured a booking in August for a new show for us, The Thornton le Dale Show nr Pickering. This is a mid-week event for Jive Pony and we look forward to entertaining the crowds with our stunning array of equine stunts and fast paced gymnastic skills.

Seasonal Wishes and more shows booked...
Rebecca and Rosie, along with all the team behind the scenes at Jive Pony would like to extend their wishes to everyone over the festive period. Taking a well earned rest from preparing for the 2009 shows, we all hope that you have a great Christmas and a Peaceful New Year. Before the year is out we can confirm three more events have now been booked for 2009 which we are delighted about. Our first April booking which is on the Easter weekend will be at the Mid Suffolk Show, while we have taken two more bookings later in the season, The Radlett Festival in June and The Gower Show later in August. We hope that there is a show near to you so that you can come and watch our stunning equine skills and then visit us after the shows for a chat and to meet the lovely ponies. Jive Pony finally coming home...
Jive Pony have confirmed another two shows today, with us taking a long trip up to Dumfriesshire in Scotland in August to perform our stunning Duo Shows to the crowds at their long running agricultural show. Secondly we are delighted to have confirmed details with the Moreton-in-Marsh show organiser's to appear at our local town's country fair in September. This is the first time that Jive Pony have been given the opportunity to perform to their home crowd and both Rebecca and Rosie are looking forward to putting on a very special show for them all. New Dates for 2009...
Jive Pony have just confirmed details with another three show organiser's for 2009. One of the highlights will be our highly successful appearance at the CLA Game Fair, which for 2009 will be taking place at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire in July. The other two shows are the FICC Rally, Lincoln Show Ground in May and the Danson Summer Fair in August. Jive Pony updates...
We have updated the gallery section today with some photos from a society wedding that we performed at in September and we have also been sent some extra photos from our weekend at the World Sheep Dog Trials, taken by photographer Phillippa Wood. We performed a show for a group of disabled children and their parents down in Bristol recently and they were so so lovely, plus we have received more praise from the organiser's of the Autumn Fair 2008 which can be viewed on our feedback page within the show section of our site.

Jive Pony launch brand new web site...
Jive Pony have undergone a major transformation online to bring their web site at www.jive-pony.co.uk right up-to-date and more accessible to everyone who has been following us for the past few years. Now featuring more information for event and show organiser's as well as lots of imagery for fans of the UK's premier female equestrian display team to view online. We have even created some wallpapers for you to download. We believe that the changes made to our web site also reflect the changes that Jive Pony have seen over the past 12 months as the team steps up a gear with more dynamic equine shows like Jive Pony's brand new Super Duo displays. We are now performing to larger audiences and bigger events including the CLA, The Royal Show and more recently at the Land Rover World Sheep Dog Trials in Wales. 2009 is an exciting year for Jive Pony and with the new site now live, both Rebecca Townsend and Rosie Howard see the UK's premier female equestrian display team going from strength to strength.
