Amy went on to compete for Scotland and represented Great Britain in National and International competitions up until 2002. Having gained a love for extreme sports she decided to follow an 'extreme career' so took herself off to London to train at Britain’s top circus school 'The Circus Space' where Amy successfully completed a three-year degree course in circus and performing arts.
It was during Amy's degree course that she trained to become an aerialist and specialised in the aerial hoop. Since graduating Amy has enjoyed working as an aerialist and acrobat, working solo, duo and with various companies. Her performances have included the aerial hoop, silks, rope, trapeze, harness and many more!
As well as performing, Amy used her extensive skills and knowledge to provide teaching for various companies, including the adult and youth programmes at The Circus Space, The Hanger Arts Trust, Aircraft Circus and for The Professional Dance School of London.
Having missed her vaulting days, Amy is now delighted and very excited about joining Jive Pony for their 2011 season and is looking forward to adding a new dimension to the Jive Pony routines. So if you want to see Amy Panter at a country show/fair near you in 2011 you need to check out the latest shows that Jive Pony have been booked for on the events pages.
