Rosie Howard

Rosie's passion for equine vaulting started in 1995 when she joined the Windrush Vaulting Group, where she first meet Rebecca, and won the British Advanced Team Championships four years in succession from 1995 through to 1998. Rosie continued vaulting both nationally and internationally through to 2004.

At the end of the 2004 season, Rosie retired from competitive competition and joined the Devil's Horsemen troop. It would be here that she started to gain experience in trick riding and regularly took part in their shows.

During the last few years as a competitive vaulter, Rosie embarked on a degree course in Equine and Human Sports Science and in 2006 completed her BSc degree course with her dissertation coming third in a National competition; Equine Thesis of the Year 2006.

In late 2006, Rosie was contacted by Rebecca and there then followed some commentary work for Jive Pony. One thing led to another and Rosie became a full time member of the Jive Pony display team, along with her pony Tinker and continue to entertain the crowds to this day as they travel the full length of the British Isles, performing the unique show that is Jive Pony.
